2010 Spring Conference Poster Presentation
We are
offering you an opportunity to participate in a Poster Presentation
at the 2010 Kansas Division IAI (KDIAI) Spring Conference.
Topics in a field of identification, crime scene search, or
items of historical importance to identification are appropriate.
Presenters may bring captions, graphs, drawings, models or
other exhibits to assist in explaining or demonstrating a process,
technique, idea, unusual case, or item of historical interest.
The
well-designed poster should inform the observer as to the basics of
the subject matter, as well as any conclusions, thereby freeing the
presenter to focus on discussion of essential elements of the work.
The presenter does not give any formal lecture – but stands
by his/her display as the observers pass during scheduled breaks
and, at that time, reviews the particulars of the presentation with
those individuals. The
Posters can be displayed on Tuesday afternoon, March 23 and/or all
day Wednesday, March 24 of the 2010 Spring Conference, at the Kansas
State Alumni Center, Manhattan, KS.
VCRs,
televisions, monitors, computers and other electrical component will
not be provided.
It
will be the responsibility of the presenter to ensure that his/her
poster(s) is picked up at the conclusion of the poster
presentations.
