Zach Thomas is the current president of the KDIAI.  Zach has been employed with the Lawrence, Kansas Police Department since 1991, and has worked as a Detective specializing in crime scene investigations for the past ten years.

Zach graduated from Washburn University with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology. He is a member of the International Association of Blood Stain Analysts and the National IAI.

Zach is a past Kansas IAI member of the year and has served previously on the board both as the Sergeant At Arms and as a past President. He brings knowledge and experience to his tenure as our current President.
