Welcome to the Kansas Division of the International Association for Identification website.

The Kansas IAI is an association of individuals dedicated to using proven scientific techniques to identify criminal offenders. Correct application of these techniques protects the innocent from wrongful prosecution as well as providing evidence to the trier of fact to aid their decision in a criminal prosecution.

By associating together, we both teach and learn from each other. If you are interested in joining the Kansas IAI, we welcome the opportunity to discuss your application.

John Dietrich is the current president of the Kansas IAI. An avid runner, Dietrich is a member of the 50 states marathon club. Also a former president of the Rocky Mountain IAI, Dietrich brings energy and experience to his tenure as leader of the Kansas IAI.
